Here are the tutorials and my attempts to replicate them!
My attempt at a halftone pattern animation, comic books are a big inspiration for me and an aspect of my design practice, so I thought a halftone pattern texture would be cool to include.
The tutorial I found for the halftones.
The halftones are interesting, but my animation needs something more to it. I was searching and found this cool text animation, and I wanted to try it out. It has a surrealist intrigue to it, which fits for my style.
The tutorial I found for the perspective box.
Cool stuff! Can't wait to see how it all comes together
ReplyDeleteThese both look great! I wonder if you could combine the two!
ReplyDeleteIf the effect can go bigger, it would be a cool transition to wipe to something else.
ReplyDeleteI really like the perspective box one. It's so trippy. It would be cool to see it somehow used as a transition
ReplyDeleteboth of these are super cool but I think the halftone one works more with your style as a designer
ReplyDeleteI am interested to see which one you pick, or if you could find a way to combine them! both are great!
ReplyDeleteConceptually, I really like the idea of the halftone. I wonder if it could be manipulated with light rays to suggest inspiration and enlightenment. Or something too tie the halftone into something bigger. Should resolve the name somehow, maybe have it evolve from the effect. Great start, two different messages tho. Self promo asks who are you.
ReplyDeletesuper fun and feels like you! really good starts and props to doing two tutorials!
ReplyDeleteI think both approaches are really strong. It would be cool to see how you could possibly use overlays to enhance the effect
ReplyDeleteThis is cool! I wonder if you could have the halftones reveal your name somehow before they traced around the edges.
